Now that Manchester United have announced Erik Ten Hag as their new manager, they want to move on to potential signings in the summer for the midfield, with Frankie De Jong, Aurélien Tchouameni, and Boubacar Kamara the top targets Manchester United are watching.
De Jong is a key player for Barcelona, but due to their financial situation, there club may be forced to sell him. Barcelona are pushing for a big fee and De Jong reportedly wants UEFA Champions League which makes the deal more complicated for United. Ten Hag is pushing for the deal to happen.
Kamara is a free agent this summer. Erik Ten Hag likes the player and has him on his midfield list. Man Uniteds defensive midfield has been a problem for the past couple of seasons, and maybe longer. Kamara is a player who could fill in that role and fix the problems in that position. There is also interest from Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, and Aston Villa.
Tchouameni is another player liked by Erik Ten Hag. However, it will be extremely difficult for Man United to agree a deal with him as he wants Champions League football. It is looking more likely he will go to either Liverpool or Real Madrid. He loves the Premier League, and he also loves Real Madrid.
I can say this summer transfer window for Man United will be a busy one.
